National Assessment Picture of Children.

The 5-14 National Assessment Bank has moved to a new server. This move requires your school to use a new username and password. These have been provided in an e-mail and letter to your local authority. If you have not yet received them, please contact your authority's assessment co-ordinator.

The purpose of the bank will not change. It will continue to provide materials which may be used to complement teachers’ judgements of pupil attainment.

About the system

National Assessment 5-14 are assessment materials designed to be used by teachers in Scottish schools to complement their judgements, based on the evidence of work the pupils have done in class, about pupils' levels of attainment in reading, writing and mathematics. National Assessments are based on the attainment outcomes and strands set out in the relevant National Guidelines 5-14.
